BO [ONA by Ekobo] nebulizer is the diffuser that best combines elegance and real efficiency in the context of aromatherapeutic use. It’s also kind to the environment since it’s made of bamboo and 100% biodegradable material.

Its forced air pump can diffuse over areas up to 100m², its orientable cap allowing you to select the direction which suits you best. This powerful nebulizer diffuser can diffuse really fine micro-droplets that will remain suspended in the air for several hours. It also has a diffusion power regulator.

The ONA is eco-designed. This diffuser is made from eco-materials such as bamboo fibre and oak wood, its glass container has been blown by hand and has undergone multiple checks during its manufacture to ensure the best diffusion of essential oils using the Venturi effect.

Operating principle
For information, nebulisation is the action of spraying a liquid in micro-droplets through a nebuliser. The pump sends air into the glass container. This air projects the essential oils against the glass. The glass nebuliser then creates a cloud of micro-droplets that disperse throughout the room.

The principle of nebulisation is based on the Venturi technique. In the nebulisation chamber, a high-speed airflow sprays the essential oils stored in the base of the glass container in micro-droplets. The lighter micro-droplets come out into the surrounding air via the cap. This cap has two functions: sound level reduction and diffusion axis. The largest drops fall back, to be sprayed again as micro-droplets.

Each glass container is hand-blown and so it is considered a unique piece. Each one is checked to ensure its nebulising power.

Useful to know
Bamboo is one of the most renewable resources on our planet, which is why it was chosen. It is a naturally regenerating and fast-growing reed that thrives without the aid of pesticides, herbicides or fertilisers. It can be continuously harvested every three years without causing damage to the plant or its environment. The bamboo used is gathered from the sawdust created during the manufacture of chopsticks and bamboo floors. Like any nebuliser, ONA is not completely silent and emits a little noise: this is the sound of the particles of essential oils being thrown against the glass wall. ONA has a suspended pump, allowing it to limit the sound of vibration which is greatly dampened by the solid materials used. Unlike ultrasound diffusion, ONA diffuses in just a few minutes a light cloud of essential oils which will remain suspended in the air and bring you all their benefits.

User tips
After positioning your diffuser, simply pour a few drops of essential oils (15 to 20 drops) and leave to diffuse for just a few minutes to avoid over-high concentrations. A diffusion of 15 to 20 minutes is sufficient to perfume a room of 20m².

Care
To clean your diffuser, start by emptying out the essential oils. Then, pour in 1 tablespoon of diffuser cleaner and operate your diffuser for 3 to 5 minutes. You can clean your diffuser once or twice a month, depending on how you use it and the essential oils you use. Then, empty out the excess cleaner. Now, you can use your diffuser again.

When not using your diffuser for more than two weeks, remember to put it in a dust-free place and have it cleaned later.
The pump requires no maintenance.

Precautions
Do not activate the diffuser in the presence of children aged under 3 years or pregnant women. In a child's room, we recommend that you do so when they are not present and at least 30 minutes before they come in.
